Faith defines us
A Christian basketball competition in Ringwood, where church teams play hard, play fair and play with purpose.
Basketball brings us together. Faith is what defines us.
Who we are
More than fixtures and scores
The Victorian Churches Basketball Association started from a simple idea: sport can be an expression of community, character and conviction.
Based at The Rings in Ringwood, the VCBA runs a competition for church-affiliated teams. It's a place where friendships form, respect is practised and Christian values are lived out on the court.
The league is run entirely by volunteers. It exists to help athletes, coaches and churches grow through disciplined competition and shared belief, not to put on a show for spectators.
Our values
What we
stand for
Christian community
Rooted in local church connections, we keep a respectful, Christ-centred environment where faith and sport are lived out together.
Accountability in participation
Consistent standards from registration to finals, so every player and team gets fairness, safety and a fair go.
Our story
Still being written
Week by week, game by game, the VCBA story keeps growing with every team that takes the court and every church that joins the competition.
